To strengthen our team, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) located in La Spezia who can assist our customers and partners with his expert knowledge. If you enjoy being mobile and adaptable to new challenges, this is your opportunity to make a difference with us Key Responsibilities Independent execution of costumer care and service work, for example: commissioning navy vessels, gearbox inspections, maintenance and installation. Commissioning as well as repair work and complete revisions and upgrades for marine gear systems. Troubleshooting and damage analysis on the construction site/shipyard/on board/offshore. Ensuring customer retention by effective communication concerning work timelines and expectations. Provide recommendations for replacement parts and generel instructions to customers. Write site reports, measurements and alignment protocols in English, address any requirements and needs. Sporadic assignments in assembly works at RENK Group. What Qualifications You Should Have Outstanding experience and knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems as well as PLC. Proven knowledge of the naval environment as well as experience with gearboxes is desirable At least 3 years of professional experience in the Field Service Segment. Experience in project management is beneficial, especially on large-scale construction sites. Passion about independent, well-structured, and organized work styles. Dedicated team player with a strong customer orientation. Fluent in Italian and English. A good command of written and spoken German is considered of advantage. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally from La Spezia and therefore living in the direct area or willing to move to La Spezia What We Offer Be part of a growing company and contribute to the development of the new site in La Spezia.
