Where we need youThe Sr. Specialist ESM IT Global operates within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Competence Center of the Röchling Automotive Division, reporting to the ESM IT Global Manager. The role is accountable for driving the design, implementation, and evolution of global ESM solutions across the Automotive Division’s global footprint.This senior position is responsible for harmonizing processes, integrating tools, automating workflows, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across all regions, directly supporting the Division’s IT&Digital Target Operating Model 2.0 and its shift toward Digitalization and AI.Main responsibilitiesLead the design, implementation, and optimization of ESM services, workflows, and ITIL processes.Manage and standardize the divisional Service Catalogue across regionsDevelop and maintain integrations with key systems (SharePoint, Azure AD, SAP, APIs) and drive automation initiativesOversee global administration of ESM and Confluence platforms, ensuring performance, governance, and effective knowledge managementCollaborate with regional teams (Europe, Americas, Asia) on KPI alignment, process compliance, and local rolloutsDesign and maintain dashboards and reports for SLAs, automation, and performance monitoring.Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices, security standards, and continuous improvement goalsServe as subject matter expert and advisor for ESM and Confluence, supporting platform operations and roadmap developmentHow to convince usBachelor’s in Computer Science, Business / Management, or related fieldITIL v4 Certification (Managing Professional preferred)Atlassian Confluence Admin or Atlassian Certified Professional desirable5+ years’ experience with global ITSM / ESM platformsStrong knowledge of Service Catalogue, ITIL / ESM processes, and automationExperience with Confluence and Atlassian tools (Jira, Automation for Jira) and integrations (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, monitoring tools)Skills in dashboarding / reporting (Power BI or similar)English B2 / C1 required; German a plus.We’re looking for someone with strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate effectively in a complex, international environment. You excel at communicating and building relationships with stakeholders, knowing how to train, engage, and influence teams across different regions. You have an analytical mindset and can turn KPIs and business needs into practical, measurable improvements.
