Given our continued growth, we are strengthening and expanding our team with people who share the same values as our company: AMBITION, SMILES, DYNAMISM, WILLINGNESS TO GET INVOLVED, all in a constantly evolving environment where human relationships always come first.Position: Firmware DeveloperSeniority: Expert (at least 4 years' experience)Location: RemoteAGAP2 is looking for a Firmware Developer with at least 4 years of experience to join a high-tech project in the IoT/Telematics sector.The position is fully remote, with occasional meetings at the Rome office.ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be involved in the firmware development of embedded electronic devices and will be responsible for:Firmware development in C language for STM32 microcontrollers (STMicroelectronics).Implementation, configuration, and debugging of connectivity modules via AT commands.Integration and control of BLE ( Bluetooth Low Energy ) transceiver chips.Management of peripherals and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, ADC, PWM).Performance optimisation, consumption analysis and memory management.Collaboration with hardware, software and QA teams to ensure product stability and reliability.Support during the testing, validation and debugging phase on real hardware.Essential requirements4+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.Excellent knowledge of the C language (mandatory).Proven experience with ST microcontrollers (e.g. STM32 series).Familiarity with the use and management of AT commands for modem/mobile phone modules.Experience in driving BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) chips.Good knowledge of embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C).Accustomed to working on real-time systems and limited resources.Ability to debug on target hardware.What do we offer?Permanent contract;Training tools for both hard and soft skills;Regular follow-ups with the HR team and your Business Manager;A professional growth plan in a dynamic and stimulating environment.The world needs youAGAP2 is an equal opportunities employer: we believe that all forms of diversity are a source of mutual enrichment.
