Working closely with software developers to analyse and resolve defects, this is an important role in ensuring quality delivery and maintenance of software and applications.Work collaboratively with business analysts and software developers to agree the scope of testing for the legacy system and the build of the new web-based operational systems.Providing accurate estimates and feedback for project scheduling purposes and contributing to the planning of agreed testing activities.Designing and maintaining all test script documentation for formal review with the Product manager prior to testing.Testing software in all phases of the development cycle from early to release stages and BAU, working on various in house and external systems.Execute both automated and manual testing methods (functional/regression)Review actual results against expected results, in accordance with the prescribed acceptance criteria.Analyze, report and track test issues and re-test fixes on both testing and live stages.Work with software developers to analyze and resolve defects identified during all test phases.Flexibility to support Business Analysis and Support tasks as needed.To succeed in the role you must have:Experience with all Technical and common project methodology expertise inQuality Assurance3+ years of previous experience in an automation QA role working on BSS applications and transformation projects.Experience with automation frameworks and use of relevant tools for web-based and desktop applications.Comprehensive knowledge of automation principles, practices, and white box and black box testing techniques.Create and maintain a growing suite of automation tests, expanding our test coverage when new features are developed.Experience with API Automation.Have a good knowledge of JavaScript, Python or Java.Reviewing & contributing to unit testing, integration and end to end tests when required.Identify and raise bugs into our tracking system (JIRA) and follow them until their release.Travel industry knowledge is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential as well as the ability to document results and communicate directly with developers and other team member to review solution options.Drive and resilience even when acting under pressure, willing and able to deliver results in due time.Cultural awareness, constructive contribution and cooperative attitude are crucial to build credibility and maintain relationships.Flexibility in day-to-day work and effective work planning are crucial.Strong technical and problem-solving aptitude.Strong collaborator.Comfortable with taking accountability and making decisions.Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addresses.Excellent communications skills: written, verbal, group presentations.Positive attitude and creativity in generating solutions.What We Offer:Global Brand: Opportunity to work in an international environment spread across 33 countries and growing.Stability: 100 Years at the top of our field and still pushing into new territoryProgression: We reward high performers and look to promote key talent internallyLearning and Development opportunities for growth and UpskillingA Supportive Management Culture and autonomous working environmentCompany Wide Bonus SchemeDedicated Employee Engagement ActivitiesFlexible & Hybrid WorkingAnnual Awards and Recognition for high PerformersFriendly and Collaborative work environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
