The Sales Specialist supports the Area Sales Representative in both pre-sales and post-sales phases, in order to achieve the revenue targets of its Area. He/she ensures the products training and their Customer promotion in order to increase their visibility and market positioning.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Take care of new systems and products start-up for all Customers.
  2. Collaborate with the Area Sales Representative in order to prepare the most suitable technical and economic proposal to be presented to the Customer.
  3. Conduct both product and systems training to Customers.
  4. Monitor the Customer satisfaction degree, collect its needs, and evaluate the competitors’ actions.
  5. Collaborate with the Marketing department in collecting new applications to be developed and facilitate their subsequent promotion.
  6. Provide the necessary technical reports in order to participate in tenders or offers.
  7. Support the Area Sales Representative during ongoing negotiations and for their closing.
  8. Make systems demonstration both on Company site and Customer’s site.
  9. Manage the priority of intervention according to Customer segmentation.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position

  1. Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Engineering or related discipline (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, etc.).
  2. Experience:
    1. At least 2 years of experience in Sales or Application Specialist position within an IVD Company working in an international context.
    2. Regulations and management of tenders.
    3. Knowledge of Market/Customers/Area/Competitors.
    4. Knowledge of company organization (roles, processes, etc.).
  3. Additional skills / knowledge :
    1. Basic Marketing knowledge.
    2. SAP.
    3. Microsoft Office 365.
  4. Language:
    1. Italian, native.
    2. English, level B2/C1.
