We are seeking a strategic Head of Finance to direct our Finance Department in Milan. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will lead the accounting team, drive FP&A, and provide high-level business insights to support sustainable global expansion.

MANDATORY SELECTION CRITERIA (MUST HAVE)

Luxury Brand Experience:

background in top-tier luxury fashion, high-end retail, or premium consumer goods.

International Expansion:

proven track record driving financial strategy and business development across new geographic markets.

New Sales Channels:

hands-on experience on financial planning for new retail formats, boutique expansion, and global e-commerce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Team Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and mentor the internal finance and accounting team, establishing robust workflow and professional growth.
  • Oversee full-cycle general accounting, statutory compliance, tax reporting, and the preparation of annual year-end Financial Statements.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital optimization, and liquidity forecasting.

Strategic FP&A, Budgeting & Business Planning

  • Deliver insightful strategic and cost controlling analysis to guide decision-making and operational performance.
  • Establish financial KPIs and corporate profitability analysis across brand operations.
  • Direct the financial planning and analysis function, building annual operating budgets, and reforecasting processes.

International Business Development & Expansion

  • Lead financial feasibility studies, business plans, and investment evaluation for entry into new international markets and territories.
  • Model commercial frameworks, pricing strategies, and P&L projections for new sales channels (monobrand boutiques, department store corners, wholesale, pop-ups, and international e-commerce).
  • Suppport strategic negotiations and scaling of commercial operations.

Strategic Systems Oversight & Transformation (ERP 2026–2027)

  • Serve as executive lead for the corporate implementation and migration to the new ERP system. Ensure system architecture supports advanced management reporting, FP&A capabilities, and multi-currency international business operations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

Industry Experience:

Strong track record in financial management, controlling, or strategic planning specifically within Luxury Brands, High-End Fashion, or Luxury Retail.

Expansion Expertise:

Proven history in driving international financial strategy for entering new country markets and launching new retail/omnichannel sales routes.

Financial Leadership:

Proven experience leading a finance team with deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements preparation, treasury/cash flow, FP&A, and corporate budgeting.

Strategic Vision:

Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership, translating complex metrics into strategic business insights.

Languages:

Professional fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
