If so, this position is for you We are looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills to join our effort in evolving today\'s network into the network we need tomorrow. Amazon\'s sophisticated logistics infrastructure encompasses thousands of operational nodes with millions of potential interconnections. With billions of packages processed annually through this network, the potential impact of optimized solutions is substantial. This strategic role presents an unprecedented opportunity to analyze Amazon\'s comprehensive data sets and develop actionable recommendations through advanced optimization and simulation methodologies. This role will collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including product managers, program managers, data scientists, software development engineers, and other partner teams to analyze large datasets, prove and disprove hypotheses, automate existing solutions, and build self-service dashboards and reports. Responsibilities Create data pipelines to combine data from databases, APIs, user inputs, and files using SQL, Python, R, and Rust. Build reports using Amazon QuickSight or Tableau and automate alerts and business insights delivery. Manage projects and communicate with stakeholders. Deploy services using AWS tools: EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift. Write SQL code to analyze database data and select appropriate Amazon data resources for each task. Create data visualizations and queries for both one-time requests and recurring reports. Day in the life You will build and maintain data products using SQL, Python and AWS with Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) and Scientists. You will create dashboards, tools, automations and alert systems by analyzing data from multiple sources. You will write code following Amazon security standards to integrate solutions with internal systems. You will collaborate with tech teams to improve code quality and meet certification requirements. About the team Mission Our mission is to translate business needs into data products and create business insights for decision making. We develop, deploy and enhance self-service tools tailored for MX Supply Chain and we leverage computing, statistical and mathematical models to create knowledge and provide guidance to our customers. Vision We strive to become the best guide and enablers backed on science, data and technology for the decision making in MX Supply Chain organization. Basic Qualifications - Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab- Bachelor\'s degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent- Experience in the data/BI space- +3 years of experience in business intelligence or related role- Fluent in Spanish and English (b2+)- 2+ years of experience with AWS or similar.- Writing documents and recommendations for business based on data analysis Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience working with supply chain or logistics data- Experience applying optimization models- AWS Certification Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
