Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.We are looking for a Junior Navigation System and Solution ArchitectPROFILE:You graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science or in University, and you have significant experience in architecture and engineering systemsYou are a leader willing to engage and develop your team through the use of collaborative work and challenging approachesYou are responsible and show a great sense of initiativeYou are convincing and persuasiveYou like to be involved with the customerYou have good communication and relationship skillsCOMPETENCIES:You are aware of the description of the operational conceptYou have a deep knowledge of the field and its technical strategyYou are familiar with operational analysisYou are able to work in co-engineering (Lean Thinking, Obeya...)You understand the different actors involved in the project and are able to contextualise and change the perspective (political, economic, social, technical, environmental, legal...)You are familiar with Concept, Design, Experimentation and Simulation tools, as well as modelling tools (such as MBSE)You are familiar with working with Integration Verification Validation Qualification and Agile methodsNICE TO HAVE:You know about basic telecommunication principles (propagation error, access schema, modulations, etc.)You know about satellite navigation principles (how they works, which are the main key performance parameters, etc.)You are familiar with simulation tools such as Matlab, STK, etc.You want to participate to international meetings with the main European Space actors (ESA, EUSPA, EC, etc.)You know about Agile methodologies (e.g. Lean Engineering, SAFe, etc.)At Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
