Senior .NET Software Engineer

As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will be a part of the team responsible for designing and building new features, resolving issues, taking care of continuous integration and deployment, and improving all aspects of delivery. You will contribute to creating and delivering innovative OTT streaming solutions, websites, apps, and live broadcast systems that can handle millions of concurrent users seamlessly.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions for OTT streaming platforms, apps, websites, and live broadcast systems capable of handling millions of concurrent usersLead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for our platforms, following SCRUM/Agile methodologies and sprint-driven developmentMaintain and enhance existing codebases, ensuring scalability and performance while leveraging GitHub for version control and collaborationTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues with creative solutionsTake ownership of key development tasks within a continuous integration and deployment environmentWork with cloud infrastructure using a mix of services, containers, and virtual machinesConduct thorough code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practicesStay updated with the latest .NET technologies and integrate them into our systems when applicable, ensuring alignment with Agile best practicesMentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellenceAssist in the recruitment and onboarding of new front-end team membersRequirementsOver 5 years of relevant work experience as a .NET Back-End Engineer or similarProficient in .NET 8/.NET FrameworkStrong understanding of building REST APIs with Web APIHands-on experience with multithreading and parallelizationFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB)Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably MS SQL)Experience with designing high-performance and scalable servicesExposure to microservices and event-driven architectureUnderstanding of cloud technologies (AWS preferred)Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS a plus)Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and component testsGood understanding of HTTP, caching mechanisms, and service discoveryFamiliarity with modern communication technologies like RabbitMQ (preferred), gRPC and Apache KafkaProblem-solving mindset for tackling complex technical challengesKnowledge of in-memory key-value databases like RedisProficiency in Git and scripting with PowerShell/BashExperience with continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions & Workflows)Familiarity with continuous deployment processes (e.g., Flux)Familiarity with Windows/Visual StudioWe’re looking for someone who is:driven to push the boundaries and lead change and performancecommunicative to leave no-one in the dark and to work with you team successfullyreliable so we know that we can call on you to meet deadlinespassionate about the latest technologies and standardsproactive to suggest improvements, identify and fix potential issuessolid technically speaking, to advise both Clients and internal teamsOur people are key to our success and we pride ourselves on offering a dynamic, creative, innovative and supportive environment.
