HealthCare Assistant Opportunities Exist Across Ireland

Interviews in Rome, Italy week commencing 3rd of March 2025

Applicants must be suitably qualified, have good English language skills, and be an EU citizen based in Italy.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare / Nurse Assistants to join Mowlam Healthcare , the largest independent provider of nursing home care in Ireland. Qualified candidates are invited to interview in Rome week commencing March 3rd 2025 . Positions are available at 31 locations across Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Clare, and Kilkenny.

About the Role

As a Healthcare / Nurse Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care according to residents' care plans.
  • Understand residents' needs and provide companionship.
  • Assist with mobility and personal hygiene, ensuring dignity.
  • Support residents with eating, drinking, and achieving comfort.
  • Participate in and help organise social activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with families and colleagues.
  • Adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
Contract & Benefits
  • Type : Full-time, permanent
  • Shifts : Day and night (flexibility required)
  • Salary : €13.50 - €14.50 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:
  • Must possess EU citizenship and be in Italy to interview in person on specified dates.
  • QQI Level 5 or equivalent i.e. Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Social Care, Special Needs, Nursing Care Technician, Technician in Care for People, Support Worker, Psychology, and/or Nurse qualifications
  • Experience in elderly care is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Excellent organisational and observation skills
  • A professional, caring, and compassionate nature
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
