Join our team and help shape the future of Controlling within the Falkensteiner Group alongside our finance experts With us, you will work in an international environment, have the opportunity to share your ideas, and actively contribute to setting new standards.General Objective of the Role: The Business Controller is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate accounting of operating expenses and analysing key financial indicators for the Italian cluster (5 existing hotels and 2 new openings in 2026) in accordance with USALI standards. This role acts as the preferred business partner for hotel management teams.The Business Controller proactively enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of the controlling function. He/she maintains close collaboration with the accounting department to ensure smooth cooperation between Accounting and Controlling, aiming for timely, accurate, and efficient completion of financial statements (e.g., monthly reports). The position reports to the Cluster Controller Italy.Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely delivery of accurate and relevant information (e.g., monthly financial statements) to internal and external stakeholdersPrepare actual P&L statements and monthly forecasts for all hotels in the clusterConduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actionsFoster smooth, results‑oriented cooperation with the accounting department and other internal stakeholders, including General ManagersPrepare ad‑hoc reports for managementPromote a collaborative project culture and encourage internal communicationHold regular meetings with hotel management on material management, staff productivity, and financial forecastsPlace to work: Home office + Falkensteiner office Milan + short business trip during high seasonYour ProfileMinimum 2 years of experience in a Controlling roleMaster’s degree and solid accounting knowledgeStrong project management skills and a natural aptitude for data analysisExcellent knowledge of English language; German is a plusProficient in IT tools and advanced Excel skillsWhat We OfferFlexible working hours and home office optionsCareer and development opportunities in a growing hotel groupEnjoy your vacation in the best hotels with us at attractive conditionsPlease apply exclusively via the “Apply for this job” button and submit your CV and Motivationletter in English.
