So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.About the RoleBased in Monza, Italy, you will join our Automation Development team, responsible for designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions for Alfa Laval’s core products and customized projects. In this role, you will be involved in the electrical design and maintenance of automation systems, contributing to high‑quality, safe, and efficient solutions.Your main tasks will include:Creating electrical design for machines’ automation cabinetsReviewing customer automation inputs and project specificationsEstimating budget hours based on scopePerforming electrical design calculationsParticipating in reviews and quality processesCoordinating design activity planningCollaborating across teamsSupporting commissioning, test, and fault tracingWho are you?You are a passionate Electrical Design Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical and instrumentation engineering. You thrive in Agile environments and enjoy working across international teams to develop innovative automation systems. You’re detail‑oriented, collaborative, and eager to contribute to the full lifecycle of product development—from concept to delivery.What you know?Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation EngineeringProficiency in electrical design tools such as ePlan P8 or similarExperience with marine approvals, verification, and documentationExperience with ATEX and hazardous area electrical designStrong skills in electrical engineering drawingsBackground in project work and product developmentProject management experience is a plusFluent in written and spoken English and ItalianValid driver’s licenseWe care about diversity, inclusion, and equity in our recruitment processes.
