Role Summary International School of Bergamo is seeking a Teacher of Physics – High School who will adapt quickly to a new and exciting learning environment. We want an enthusiastic professional, preferably with experience of the International Baccalaureate, willing to use flexible strategies in a class with students from different language backgrounds. About the School The International School of Bergamo is an expanding school opened in 2011. In just ten years, we have become an IB Continuum World School offering the Primary, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. More information about the school can be found on our website: Responsibilities Have relative teaching experience at middle/high school level. Teaching the IB is a distinct advantage; candidates with experience in the Diploma Programme will be given priority. Engage students at all levels. Play an active part and collaborate with members of the middle and high school department. Commit to high standards, use a constructivist approach to learning, and promote international understanding. Show initiative, flexibility, creativity and organisational skills. Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status. Bachelor’s degree or above. Hold an EU passport or have already obtained the right to be employed in Italy. Knowledge and skills in ICT literacy. The ability to teach other subjects is an added advantage.
