Accountabilities Oversight of all aspects of the assigned product (hardware, packaging, builds, validation, ED&D, DVPR, Design Change Requests, etc.). Coordination of technical departments involved in project target achievement. Technical interface to Vehicle & PT Integration, AME, Purchasing, EE Core, ePT, Controls, Calibration, Quality, Suppliers and EE Systems. Ensure procedures and methodologies application according to required standards and lead project documentation creation, monitoring and updating. Ensure best practices and lessons learned are used and properly shared across the engine family. Leads engineering teams to deliver prototype & production batches that meet vehicle/program requirements. Review, approve and track the System DVP&R and support the development of the component DVP&Rs. Co‑leads proactive risk management tasks with the QRE Team (e.g. DFMEAs, DFSS, LUR, reliability demonstration) and track/lead resolution of all GIMs. Leads the technical reviews/evaluations and technical specification sign‑offs (Design Reviews). Leads the technical responses to investigate/action bulletins that relate to the technology. Support releases of Product Book updates and International Product Specification documents. Coordinate release of required technical information to support approval of required compliance procedure and compliance reports.
