The selected candidate will be involved in prototype development, definition of experimental validation tests, and coordination with the internal R&D team and external suppliers for the realization of dedicated tools and components.Must have?Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Experimental Physics, or related fields; experience in laboratory experimental activities. Read below…What does the R&D Physicist do?Designs and performs experiments in the laboratoryAnalyzes results and supports quality controlInterfaces with suppliers for specific componentsMaintains and updates R&D instruments, prototypes, and devicesDrafts technical reports and presentationsContributes to scientific publicationsParticipates in cross‑functional development projects in an international contextIdeal candidateMaster’s degree in Physics, Experimental Physics or related fields; a PhD is a plus1–2 years of experience in analytical techniques (e.g., mass spectrometry, optical spectroscopy, plasma) and vacuum systemsKnowledge of electronics, software, physics simulators (e.g., COMSOL, Simion), and nanostructuring processes (e.g., PVD, lithography)Skills in statistics, data management, and programming environments (LabView, C, C++, Python)Familiarity with Windows/Linux systems, CAD, and preferably electronic simulators or PCB DesignGood command of English (B2 level)Strong teamwork skills in interdisciplinary settings, proactivity, analytical mindset, and communication abilitiesWhat we offerPermanent employment contractAn innovative, young, and challenging environmentWork locationTurin.
