In this role you lead the engineering and integration of a highly automated logistics project within a greenfield Mantova site. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production and materials flow. You’ll drive large-scale project management, commissioning, and handover, aligning logistics automation with manufacturing operations. - Lead the engineering execution of a highly automated logistics facility within a large manufacturing investment program
- Coordinate multidisciplinary workstreams across civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, automation, and logistics systems
- Manage internal teams, partners, suppliers, contractors, and system integrators with clear scope and delivery expectations
- Drive safe project execution across design, construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up per standards and regulations
- Apply project management practices for planning, scheduling, risk management, change control, and stakeholder alignment
- Ensure integration between logistics automation, manufacturing operations, utilities, infrastructure, digital systems, and site operations
- Oversee commissioning, qualification, testing, troubleshooting, and readiness activities
- Drive operational readiness and ramp-up with training, maintenance plans, spare parts, and documentation
- Promote Industry 4.0, Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare updates and ensure structured handover to operations and maintenance
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects within large-scale capital investment programs
- Exposure to automated logistics, distribution centers, intralogistics, or manufacturing logistics integration
- Ability to collaborate with teams from civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, automation, MEP, fire protection, operations, and maintenance
- Strong understanding of project management principles: planning, scheduling, risk management, change control, stakeholder management
- Experience across construction, installation, xysqume commissioning, qualification, start-up, ramp-up, and structured handover
- Strong safety mindset and ability to influence safe behaviors across contractors and teams
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0, automation interfaces, Lean, Kaizen, maintenance, asset reliability, continuous improvement
- Technical & Safety Expertise with knowledge of logistics, electrical engineering, automation controls (PLCs/SCADA/WMS/WCS), and digital manufacturing operations
- Leadership that fosters an inclusive, ethical, cooperative work environment
- Clear communication, leadership, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making in complex projects
