You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Content and Design, to deliver high-quality features that enhance the user experience and promote local tourism initiatives in Japan.RequirementsTechnical Skills2–4 years experience with web app developmentStrong hands-on experience with Vue.js and NuxtFamiliarity with Supabase (or Firebase) and PostgreSQLComfortable with TypeScript, server routes, and client-server integrationKnowledge of i18n best practices for multilingual sitesGit workflow experience (PRs, branches, merge conflicts)Basic deployment/security knowledge with platforms like CloudflareSoft Skills & Cultural FitFluent in English (spoken & written) - Japanese language not requiredExcellent communication: proactive in weekly check-ins, async-friendlyHigh attention to detail and ability to work independentlyStrong interest in Japan and sensitivity to its culture/aestheticsComfortable receiving and incorporating feedbackNice to HaveExperience working in travel, tourism, or content-based platformsBeen to Japan or familiar with Japanese geography, culture, or destinationsJapanese language skills (written preferably)Startup or small team experienceHow to ApplyPlease submit your application with the following:Your resume and portfolioGitHub profile or recent code samplesA brief paragraph about your interest in Japan or travel platforms#J-18808-Ljbffr
