OverviewPlant Controller is a full‑time position located in Brescia, Italy, under the Accelleron global subsidiary OMT. The role involves cost modelling, financial analysis and operations partnership within a manufacturing environment that supports decarbonisation initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop an understanding of the cost structures and establish cost models*Month, quarter and year‑end closure activities / actual results against budget‑forecast‑PY / P&L analysisPrepare budget and rolling forecast according local / central requirementsReporting packageDetailed cost analysis (volumes, variable‑fix costs, yields, variances, OWC and capex)Product calculationsTariffs calculation based on cost driver and key allocationDevelop and ensure that standard costs are accurate and meet the cost improvement objectives set by OperationsOVH spending suitabilityMargin analysis by productKPI’s elaboration according required financial metrics to meetWork closely with manufacturing and warehousing leadership to ensure that all financial transactions and reporting are complete, accurate and timelyPerform frequent walk‑throughs of local manufacturing site with Plant Manager to address production and costing issuesBusiness partner for Operations, Engineering, and other relevant functional leaders, provider of important information and analysis to drive decisionEnsure inventory management program accuracy is effective and timely, analysis of inventory levels and days inventory on‑hand (DIO) to ensure they meet ISC / Operations targetsAssure overall financial performance with expectationsContinuous improvement project analysisEnsure ongoing proper transactions and controls are in place in the facility so that accurate costing and profit analysis can be performedData collection and analysis maintenancePrepares, administers and monitors plant proceduresQualificationsEducation Degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, MBA, Business, Education, Manufacturing, Business / Administration, Business SchoolCandidate must be detail oriented with excellent organization skills, a self‑starter and a team player possessing both verbal and written communication skillsGood commercial sense, strategic thinking, flexible, open mindedThorough understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilitiesAbility to work in a complex and dynamic business environmentProblem solving and keep it simple attitudesMust demonstrate leadership as part of a cross‑functional management teamAbility to work with a large volume of detail producing accurate results within aggressive deadlinesTechnical skills MS office, ERP, MRP package system, PBI, Fluent in EnglishDesired experience for plant controller includes previous working experience in manufacturing industry / environmentAdditional InformationPlant Controller includes previous working experience in manufacturing industry / environment.
