Job opportunityArea Director of Sales and MarketingThis is a truly fantastic role for an Area Director of Sales and Marketing in which to further a longer-term career within Italy and, internationally, being part of a globally renowned branded hotel company.Category : Sales & Business DevelopmentThe Area Director of Sales and Marketing will be based on property, a unique, urban retreat, located in the heart of one of Italy’s dramatic historic cities. Both hotels offer luxury and comfort with a blend of modern amenities and Italian charm. Known for their exceptional service, these hotels are situated in good locations providing easy access to major attractions, they have stylish rooms and dining as well as a wellness centre and manicured gardens.Due to the company’s expansion, our client is particularly keen to appoint someone who will benefit from their core commitment to succession planning. As such, this would appeal to a DOSM within a smaller hotel / company, an experienced DOS or a very knowledgeable and experienced ADOSM with current team leadership. Managing a team of 5-7 people the key competencies and experience include :EssentialDemonstrable revenue understandingKnowledge of European and / or the UK high‑end leisure marketInnate understanding of working in globally recognised five-star hotel brands or renowned independent hotelsSupportive team leadership experienceEligible to work in the EUPreferredFluency in or business level Italian.
