We are seeking an M365 engineer to design, implement, and operate the M365 suite in GCC High Environment with a primary focus on maintaining reliable and secure M365 collaboration services, troubleshooting issues, and providing engineering support to the team.Export Control: This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.A day in the life of KM365 includes standing up daily progress discussions, participating in Operations reviews, document reviews, and project meetings, and dedicating time for development, operations, and support in focused engineering days. This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon's world-class technical team and grow your career within one of our most innovative programs.About the team: This team collaborates with Amazon Security teams and key stakeholders to intake requirements and deliver a customer productivity experience to Project Kuiper resources.Responsibilities Design and implement Productivity applications in Kuiper environments using Infrastructure as Code.Identify, research, recommend, and implement Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, and Voice.Serve as the administrator for M365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Voice).Enforce compliance principles including least privilege access, password management, and audit logging for all productivity applications.Drive third-party secure collaboration efforts to accelerate Kuiper projects.Partner with Amazon security organizations to ensure compliance with existing security policies.Engage with and influence key stakeholders and internal teams to meet or exceed compliance, security, and operational requirements.Create and implement automated processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency and scalability.Develop monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness, and efficiency of productivity services.Develop and maintain documentation for the Microsoft 365 environment for engineering and end-user audiences.Basic Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on systems engineering experienceExperience with M365 services like Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, ExchangeKnowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)Experience with PowerShell (preferred) or Python for automationPreferred Qualifications Experience configuring M365 services with Desired State Configuration (DSC)Experience with CI/CD AWS pipelinesExperience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodologyAdministrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systemsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
