Ingenn is the Head Hunting company solely focused on the search and selection of technical profiles and engineers.The partner:We are looking for a Head Of Product to be hired on a permanent contract with one of our clients, an innovative Start-Up in the chemical-engineering sector. Our client specializes in renewable energy and, in particular, in the research, development and prototyping of new green batteries and long-duration energy storage containerized systemsThe role:Own the product roadmap and requirements for the containerized system, defining KPIs (performance, efficiency, availability, lifetime, CAPEX/OPEX)Translate use cases and customer needs into system-level requirements, interfaces, and operating envelopesDefine the container-scale system architecture (power train integration, hydraulics/BOP, sensors, controls, interfaces to PCS and site BOP)Lead structured product development cycles: concept, design reviews, prototyping, iterations, and design freezeDrive product safety and risk management activities (e.g., FMEA/HAZID/HAZOP), reliability strategy, and safety-by-designLead compliance and certification strategy (electrical safety, pressure systems, chemical storage/handling, EMC, functional safety where applicable)Convert product needs into component specifications and acceptance criteria (pumps/valves/piping, stack modules, membranes, seals, sensors, wetted materials)Build and manage Verification & Validation frameworks (test plans, pass/fail criteria, FAT/SAT structure, change control, requirements traceability)Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to enable design-for-manufacturing, design-for-assembly, cost-down, and supplier alignmentDraft procedures, reports and technical documentation in generalMandatory skills:Master's degree or PhD in energy, mechanical, chemical engineering or equivalent qualificationPrevious experience of at least 7 years gained in the development of complex industrial products/projects in the energy, with particular focus on system requirements definition, architectures and cross-functional management (preferably within the environment offlow batteries and/or hydrogen systems and/or skid)A solid knowledge of safety and risk management methodologies (FMEA, HAZOP, HAZID) applied to industrial products, necessarily including V&V activities, design reviews and regulatory compliance is a mandatory requirementExcellent level of English (B2 minimum)The knowledge of italian language level C1 or C2 is ideal but not mandatoryLocation:Rho (MI)#LI-LC1#J-18808-Ljbffr
