We are looking for a person who will join Moleskine as a Business Controller EMEA in our Finance team. The position is based in Milan. Scope of the role We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Business Controller to join our EMEA Controlling Team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in finance within a global brand. The ideal candidate will produce accurate weekly and monthly reports, support budgeting and forecasting activities and ensure precise financial analysis. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, with a strong focus on partnering with the Sales team. Main Responsibilities Prepare weekly and monthly reports with a high level of accuracy and analytical insight Support the preparation of Budget and Forecast Participate in monthly closings activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with regional teams and cross-functional departments to ensure consistency between financial data and business objectives. Propose improvements to reporting and controlling processes. Requirements Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field 1-2 years of relevant experience in controlling or finance roles Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts) Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Oracle, PBCS, Qlick Sense) Fluent English, both written and spoken Nice-to-have Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail. Proactive, curious, and with a genuine eagerness to learn. Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
