Sr. Delivery Consultant-DevOps, NatSec ProServeAmazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for highly talented and technical consultants to help accelerate our growing Professional Services business.ResponsibilitiesBe great fun to work with – embody AWS’s credo of \"Work hard. Make history\" and bring enthusiasm and creativity to every project.Enjoy working with Intelligence Community customers – educate, train, design, and build cloud solutions for a diverse and challenging set of customers.Have a strong understanding of large‑scale computing solutions; past experience as a systems or support engineer and the ability to contribute to deep architecture discussions.This position requires on‑site presence at least one day per week and is not a remote role. Candidates must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions3+ years of software development with an object‑oriented languageCurrent, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with PolygraphPreferred Qualifications7+ years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networkingExperience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skillsProfessional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWSExperience working within software development or Internet‑related industriesExperience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloudExperience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware and storageUnderstanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA and FedRAMPAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
