This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in accounting within a supportive and fast‑paced environment.As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with the Italian Accounting Lead, supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all financial processes. You will gain hands‑on experience across a range of accounting tasks, while contributing to the efficiency and continuous improvement of our financial workflows.This position also offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, giving you valuable insight into the broader business and exposure to international accounting standards and practices.Your jobResponsabilitiesProcessing and booking of sales invoices and credit notesVerification of VAT on sales invoicesMonitoring of customer balances and management of payment reminders (from first reminder to formal notice, including follow‑up with lawyers)Intercompany re‑invoicing and daily intercompany bookings with the assistance of the account leadSupport in monthly closing activities, including hard close and year‑end closing, alongside the account leadSupport in the re‑invoicing of quarterly commissions together with the account leadHandling of the accounting mailboxRegular contact with the sales teamRequirementsPrevious experience in Italian accounting (1-2 years)Fluent in Italian (C2) and English (C1)Understanding of Italian tax regulationsTo have at least a bachelor's degreeHighly organized, with the ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectivelyNice to haveGood command of Excel (pivot tables, formulas)Team spirit and willingness to learn in an international environmentPrevious exposure to month‑end and year‑end closing activitiesWhat's great about this job?Real responsibilities from day one, with plenty of room to growExposure to both Italian and international accounting practices.Direct collaboration with the Italian Accounting LeadA dynamic, supportive, and multicultural team environment.Hybrid work modality(3 days on site / 2 fixed days on remote)Do you want to know more about Odoo?
