Company Overview INTA Diagnostics is the first deep‑tech spin‑off of CNR‑NANO and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. It operates in the NEST Laboratory, a nanoscience and nanotechnology research centre, and the GATE Centre in Pisa. INTA develops and produces on‑chip laboratories for detecting biological analytes such as proteins, viruses and bacteria in body fluids (blood, saliva). Using advanced molecule‑probe immobilization techniques on the surface of biosensors and through data analysis based on artificial‑intelligence algorithms, INTA's products can detect bio‑analytes on a small chip with extreme precision. The associated software stack is essential, providing functions for both internal laboratory support and external product data management for clients. Position INTA is looking for a passionate and talented Full Stack Developer with a background in computer science or equivalent. The Full Stack Developer will be a key driver in shaping INTA's product future. The role requires taking immediate ownership of the current software stack, which includes Flask, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployment, ensuring stability and optimal performance. Crucially, the candidate will be responsible for gathering internal and external requirements, translating them into actionable engineering tasks, and actively proposing and implementing innovative features and architectural changes. This includes evaluating and integrating modern front‑end frameworks (such as Vue or Angular) to evolve the current monolithic architecture into a high‑performance, maintainable, API‑driven solution, directly impacting the precision and usability of our diagnostic platform. The ideal candidate has a computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent degree and at least three years of experience using software design tools. He/she must demonstrate high flexibility, good problem‑solving, time management and teamwork skills in international contexts. A structured working method, autonomy and proactivity complete the profile. Experience in radio‑frequency systems is a plus. Responsibilities Database Management: Design, develop, and maintain our database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Backend API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs using modern frameworks. Frontend Development & Architecture: Develop new responsive web interfaces and guide the strategic adoption of a modern front‑end framework (e.g., Vue, Angular). Cloud Management & Deployment: Deploy and manage applications in the cloud, ensuring scalability and security. Feature Delivery: Collaborate with the software team to gather requirements, implement new functionalities, and run tests to improve the user experience. Problem Solving: Communicate and collaborate with other team members to resolve complex problems. Requirements Database Management: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. Backend Development: Proficiency in backend frameworks (e.g., Flask) and RESTful API development using languages such as Python. Experience: Minimum three years of solid experience in Full Stack development. Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with versioning software (Git) and strong familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment processes. Soft Skills: High degree of proactivity, problem‑solving skills and autonomy in managing complex projects. Fluent in English and a strong collaborator in international teams. Nice‑to‑have Cloud Management: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Services). Container Management: Experience with Docker containers. Enterprise Systems: Experience with Odoo and Alfresco integration. Domain Knowledge: Experience in radio‑frequency systems, IoT, or diagnostics/med‑tech.
