CPM designs, manufactures, and supplies both complete systems and standalone production units, and is a leading provider of process equipment and engineered solutions for the oilseed, animal feed, and bioenergy markets. The extensive range of machinery including milling systems, conditioning systems and pellet presses are used for processing bulk materials in the biomass industry, the production of animal feed, waste recycling and energy generation - all global industries that are growing strongly.

Di Piu' is a small family-led company in the heart of Breganze, Italy. They specialize in briquetting machines, and have a hands-on approach to Sales. The organization is developing and growing so we are looking for a Sales Manager (EMEA) to support this growth. You will work closely with Di Piu's General Manager, who is also one of the family members that founded Di Piu'. What an opportunity


Key Responsibilities - What will you do?:

As Sales Manager, you will be working closely with the Di Piu' team in Italy. Your main focus will be defining commercial efforts for the product line. The focus is to both affirm our market presence within the existing customer base and grow our business in the region. You are a sales professional with experience in advising and guiding sales strategy to deliver sales targets. You should be recognized as an expert in the briquetting market and will work across the EMEA regions.

  1. Responsible for top line growth, with the focus on prospecting and establishing new sales
  2. Manage strategic accounts including internal coordination ensuring alignment with customer, segment, partners, and global strategies
  3. Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with CPM's products and solutions
  4. Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contract negotiations
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive offerings
  7. Manage participation in trade shows & sales meetings as necessary
  8. Provide feedback to improve existing offerings and opportunity areas for new product development
  9. Generate trip reports and utilize Sales Force
  10. Report to management and colleagues about market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry

This opportunity is based in Northern Italy. Candidates who are available to relocate to Breganze or already live in the area are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements- What do you need?
  1. You have a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering
  2. You are an excellent communicator and business partner who can communicate at all levels within the customers' organization, including technical specialists, procurement officers and senior management
  3. You are a self-starter, driven and results-oriented sales professional with at least five years relevant experience within the alternative fuels industry or in selling technical solutions
  4. You enjoy the travelling part of this position and are prepared to travel extensively (60%)
  5. Language skills: English and German; Italian is a plus
  6. Residing in Northern Italy or willing to relocate
