As we prepare for our imminent reopening, we are seeking a Night Auditor to join our Front Office Team. Role Description As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth overnight hotel operations while maintaining the highest level of guest service and accuracy in financial reporting. You will oversee nightly front office activities, manage guest interactions, perform daily reconciliation of accounts, and serve as a key point of contact during nighttime hours. Your main responsibilities will include: Managing and supervising all overnight front office operations Performing daily financial audits, balancing accounts, and preparing end-of-day reports Handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments with professionalism Providing courteous and efficient assistance to guests throughout the night Ensuring safety and security procedures are followed and documented Monitoring property systems, alarms, and emergency protocols Addressing guest feedback, special requests, and nighttime incidents Supporting other departments as needed to ensure seamless 24-hour service Preparing operational handovers for the morning management team Ensuring lobby and front desk areas remain tidy and welcoming Coordinating with Housekeeping and Maintenance for urgent nighttime needs Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel What We're Looking For Previous experience as Night Auditor, Night Receptionist, or Front Office role in luxury hospitality Strong understanding of front office operations and hotel accounting procedures Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and reliability Ability to work independently and remain calm during night emergencies or peak moments Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with PMS and hotel management systems Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus) Flexible, guest-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service Additional Information Location: Venice, Italy – Based on San Clemente Island, Venice (daily boat transfers required) Type of work: Full time Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak periods You must possess the legal right to work in Italy What We Offer A key operational role within one of Europe’s most prestigious luxury hotels Opportunity to work in a stunning historical property immersed in art, culture, and heritage Professional development and training opportunities Accommodation, meals, uniform, and other on-property benefits A dynamic, supportive, and international team environment Apply Now Ready to join our Front Office team and contribute to exceptional guest experiences overnight?
