Overview Summary of Role: Project Manager is responsible for handling company's ongoing projects. She/he will work closely with project team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Principle Job Responsibilities Manage the scope of work allocated, ensuring completion within the time, budget and cash targets while optimizing the margin for the company. Initiate a project: develop a Project Execution Strategy, ensuring resource availability and allocation; develop a detailed overall project schedule (plan), updating it to reflect progress and optimize work and resolve problems. Use appropriate metrics (including financial) to track project performance. Coordinate all activities for the allocated scope including engineering, procurement & logistics, erection and commissioning. Manage claims and change orders to/from customers and sub-suppliers during project execution. Manage the relationship / communication with the client and all stakeholders. Management of risks and opportunities by the implementation of appropriate action plans with the aim to minimize project risks and improve the project margin. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to the company procedure & processes. Report and escalate to management as needed. Education Degree in Engineering and/or Business Management or High school graduation Specific Knowledge And Skills As a project manager, it is requested to follow a standard process, as defined by the Project Management Institute (refer to table 1). Specifically, Project Manager shall have: Planning, organizing, and priority setting skills; Ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors; Ability to relate to client’s management, senior & top management and staff; Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills; Ability to understand ERP implementation; Proven working experience as a project manager in the industrial sector; Project Management Certification (PMI / IPMA) is a plus.
