Cloud Architect & Advisor Senior Specialist - SAP Cloud ERP Private Join the Cloud Architecture & Advisory team at SAP to support customers in transitioning to private cloud solutions across SAP's cloud strategy. This senior role is focused on pre‑sales and technical leadership for SAP Cloud ERP Private engagements in EMEA. Overview SAP Cloud ERP Private is designed to enable customers to transform their business while protecting existing SAP ERP investments. It offers a flexible, managed private cloud environment that can be hosted on SAP data centres, hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) or on‑premise sites. Responsibilities Present technical and operational aspects of SAP Cloud ERP Private to senior IT leaders. Explain managed service offerings and deployment options on SAP data centres, premium suppliers, and hyperscalers. Lead technical assessment workshops to define future cloud architecture and migration road‑maps with partners and SAP Professional Services. Advise on non‑functional capabilities such as business continuity, cybersecurity, compliance, networking, technical operations and service consumption. Develop pricing using Quote Tool, Configurator and other tools. Collaborate with Customer Success boards and other SAP teams to provide deal support and generate pricing. Own technical discussions with customers and orchestrate expert input from the delivery organization. Requirements – What You Bring Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration from an accredited university. Proficiency in customer communication and presentation. Strong knowledge of the SAP product portfolio, offerings and industry solutions. Understanding of SAP solutions, releases, and platform interdependencies. Knowledge of application & technical SAP operations in cloud environments. Awareness of platform stacks: storage, virtualization, hardware, networks. Experience with at least one hyperscale provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ability to work in a global Cloud Architecture team. Willingness to travel for customer engagements on short notice. Fluency in English and Italian. Work Experience 8+ years of customer‑facing SAP consulting experience. 8+ years of solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementation. Pre‑sales role experience required. Experience with SAP BTP, IaaS providers, SAP Premium Suppliers, or data centres is a big advantage. Cybersecurity & compliance expertise is an advantage. Experience with SAP Application Lifecycle Management or SAP Operations is an advantage. ITSM, Service Design & Delivery experience is an advantage. SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills are an advantage.
