Overview My client is looking to recruit a new Design Centre Director in Q1 - in the city of Bergamo, located less than an hour from Milan. The company is well funded, rapidly growing, and has ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond. Responsibilities Build and grow a complex team of semiconductor professionals focusing on the development of new cutting-edge integrated material chips. Lead multi-functional teams across digital design, analog design, mixed-signal, verification, applications engineering, physical design, etc. Drive R&D strategy and collaborate with senior leadership to shape product initiatives. Qualifications Experience managing multi-functional teams across digital design, analog design, mixed-signal, verification, applications engineering, physical design, etc. Knowledge of silicon IP/chip development preferred; experience with new/advanced process technologies preferred. Background in an R&D function. Ability to work in an international environment; bilingual Italian/English or fluent English only considered. Visa sponsorship and relocation available for the right person. Location & Language Bergamo, Italy; less than an hour from Milan.
