About the Position We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the Body and Zonal Engneering Product Line team. This position is based at our office in Corbetta (or eventually Torino). As the TPM at Marelli, you will: be the responsible of the Engineering Development (except SW Area if there is a Software Project Manager (SPM) appointed) for Platform Developments. lead and coordinate the engineering activities of the assigned project(s) based on the Product, ensuring the respect of the Delivery, Quality and Costs targets. report directly to Head of the Body and Zonal Engineering Product Line. As part of the Offer Team, he / she will contribute to the early definition of the product during the Offer Phase be responsible during RFIs / RFQs which are based on platform developments. Your Responsibilities will be: Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline Create and track Project Master Time Plan in collaboration with SPM that respects platform requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables. Coordinate and update the estimation of Engineering Project effort. Support the SPM in aligning budget and resources needs and managing the specific Product development risks. Ensure the delivery of MVPs, POCs and Platform acc. to agreed time plans with Product Management and Top Management Prepare and communicate weekly status report to top management. Participate to benchmark analysis activity transferring best design practices to internal team Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements. Check and update reuse of standard components and solutions availability. Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes. Propose Change Request as far as Product (Engineering perimeter) is concerned in term of technical, cost and scheduling impact towards Product Management. Lead the innovations process securing the deliverables on time. Agree with Product Evaluation department about the verification and validation activities, ensuring mature Platform developments. Ensure best price BOM approach using internal tools and best practice. Oversee resource situation and provide related reports to EPL. Estimate System performances also defining and using suitable models, in order to define the optimal HW resources budget What Qualifications you will bring: Electronic Engineering Degree, Information Science Degree 3 / 5 years of experience in technical project management within Automotive field Willing to travel to the customer, supplier and MARELLI locations involved Other skills that we would welcome: Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities Excellent problem-solving skills Project Planning and Monitoring Ability to work with multinational distributed teams High capacity of synthesis for all the technical issues The above competences must be maturated in automotive area or other large-scale market What does this position offer you: Fast-paced yet supportive and high-performing international team with an inspiring ambition to transform the future of mobility.
