Mechanical & Optical System Engineer – Flight Simulators3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsTXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a System Engineer to join the Aerospace & Aviation team within the Training & Simulation Business Unit.The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on flight systems, with a particular focus on the visual display system, supporting the team throughout all implementation phases — from design to installation and final system acceptance.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign of the flight simulator visual display system and optical design with related mechanical integration.Supervision of installation activities.Management and implementation of modifications to the projection system.Setup, calibration, and analysis of projected images.Validation and testing of the visual display system.Preparation of technical project reports.Support for design review activities.Required Technical SkillsKnowledge of structural design principles.Understanding of optical principles related to projection systems, lenses, and calibration procedures.Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, CATIA, and/or AutoCAD.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.EducationDegree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related fields).Soft SkillsTeamwork and collaboration abilities.Strong problem‑solving attitude.Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.What We OfferProprietary products and third‑party projects: opportunity to work on in‑house solutions and international collaborations.Flexible working conditions: flexible working hours and hybrid work options.International environment: global presence (Milan, Berlin, Seattle, Dallas, Paris) fostering collaboration across diverse teams.Teamworking and work‑life balance: strong team spirit, team‑building activities, and company events.Compensation and benefits package: permanent contract based on experience, meal vouchers, corporate welfare plan, health insurance, and employee discounts.Continuous training: technical and professional development programs on relevant technologies and methodologies.TXT Group promotes an inclusive work environment and values diversity in all its forms.
