Join to apply for the RF Engineer role at IC ResourcesI’m supporting a long-standing client in Milan who are growing their radar engineering group and are looking to bring in an RF Engineer with strong experience across RF, microwave and mixed‑signal systems. This is a great option for someone who wants to work on real end‑to‑end RF hardware for satellite and airborne radar platforms — from high‑frequency front ends through to system‑level integration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop circuits, RF boards and integrated RF systems for radar applicationsCreate RF front‑end architectures covering antenna to baseband digitalisation.Verify compliance to technical specifications and optimise designs for mission requirementsEvaluate re‑use of known solutions or propose new concepts where needed.Support the transfer, integration and validation of hardware on airborne and satellite platformsConduct RF testing, characterisation and troubleshootingRequired ExperienceStrong background in RF system design across RF, analogue and digital control subsystemsKnowledge of RF PCB layout practices up to K‑bandHands‑on experience with EM/RF simulation tools such as CST, ADS, MWO, HFSS, Sonnet, AN‑SOFProficiency with circuit simulation tools (LTspice, ADS, QUCS, Tina)Experience with PCB/electronic design tools (Altium, Cadence, KiCad)Familiarity with system analysis environments (MATLAB RF Toolbox, Simulink, LabVIEW)Solid RF measurement skills (VNA, spectrum analysers, wideband test equipment)Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearlyFluent EnglishNice to HaveExposure to radar or remote sensing applicationsExperience working on airborne or satellite hardware programmesLeadership qualities or technical ownership within project teamsThis is a strong move for an RF Engineer who wants to work across full RF product lifecycles with genuinely interesting space and airborne technology, without the bureaucracy of a huge defence prime.Let me know if you would like a confidential chat about the role or the client.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and RecruitingLocationMilan, Lombardy, Italy#J-18808-Ljbffr
