Purpose of the Position As an Offshore Crane Operator (L1) you will join the VECOP Department in the ABSER business line and be responsible for operating the crane tugger hoists and ensuring safe lifting operations. Responsibilities Operate the crane tugger hoists using dedicated consoles. Work according to directions of the Main Crane Operator or Deck Foreman, respecting machine limits and weather and sea state conditions. Follow the movement of the Main Crane to respond promptly to instructions. Operate and take care of the crane. Carry out lifting operations safely. Maintain contact with the bridge and the Deck Foreman during lifting operations. What we are looking for We seek an enthusiastic trainee or experienced crane operator who is passionate about crane machines and willing to work in a dynamic team. Education Mechanical/Technical High School or Professional Diploma. Years of Experience 1–3 years of vocational training or related experience working with earth‑moving machinery or cranes. Languages English, B1 level. Technical Knowledge Proven experience operating earth‑moving machinery or cranes. Understanding of how to use and maintain machines and tools. Strong safety awareness and work ethic. Other Requirements Availability for offshore rotations is mandatory.
