With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role DescriptionArcadis is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Project Services team in Milan, for a pivotal international client in the Data Center industry. As a Planner, you will be responsible for the complex analysis and review of project schedules and other documentation, utilizing Primavera P6 and MS Project, generating reports and presentations for client meetings.Role AccountabilitiesVisiting active construction project sites and confirming progress is consistent with the project schedule and other project documentation.Participating in project risk reviews, performing schedule qualitative and quantitative analysis, and developing/maintaining/monitoring risk register.Identifying scheduling issues (especially on critical pathways), capturing impacts and delays to schedules and recommend mitigation/recovery schedules.Attending meetings and advising clients of construction progress and any related cost implications, and support developing progress status reports (SAL).Developing potential recovery plans for time and cost.Reviewing and analyzing construction claims and providing opinions, advice and reports on contractual entitlement and quantification of damages suitable for use in dispute resolution proceedings including negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation.Writing and developing technical reports, charts & graphs to support and present analyses (including Earned Value Analysis briefs).Determining reasonable schedule logic, duration and constraints based on interactive planning sessions with the project team.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying) or equivalent work experience.At least 7 years of relevant experience.Excellent knowledge with Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud is a must.An excellent level of English (B2 / C1), and a good level of Italian (B1/B2).Experience building and maintaining an organized, integrated EPC schedule using CPM (Critical Path Method), resource loading, baselining, coding and cost.Understanding of construction means and methodology.Ability to read and understand design information.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to engage with the client and key stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency with MS Project will be considered a plus.Proficiency with PowerBI (reporting) will be considered a plus.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
