Main Responsibilities- Collaborate to / by :
- Definition of plant guidelines and policies for EHS and Sustainability topics
- Hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of measures for health, safety, and environmental impact minimization, in compliance with laws and plant organization knowledge
- Development and maintenance of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System, certified according to ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards
- Ensure these systems are periodically audited to promote continuous performance improvement
- Analyze applicable health, safety, and environment regulations and act as a driver for compliance
- Collaborate with technical departments to define prevention and protection measures
- Identify personal protective equipment requirements based on risk assessments
- Propose worker information and training programs, assisting in organization and distribution
- Ensure medical and paramedical supervision aligns with plant needs
- Guarantee collection of key sustainability, safety, health, and environment KPIs, ensuring data processing for analysis
- Support the Maintenance Team in regulatory equipment inspections and energy management for sustainability projects
- Manage external contractors
- Utilize external experts for specialized environmental measurements and assessments
- Ensure proper waste classification, identification, storage, and disposal management
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within structured, continuous improvement-oriented industrial settings
- Experience in the metal industry is a plus
- Knowledge of EHS legal requirements
- Familiarity with ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel
- Lean Manufacturing, WCM, Six Sigma
- Power BI
- Proactive, dynamic, and willing for continuous improvement
- Strong analytical, planning, and goal-oriented skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with openness to sharing and confrontation
- Team-oriented mindset
