UI Engineer

Company Description Postura is a fast-growing deep-tech startup. We started two years ago as a team of four; today we are 10, and after recently closing a new investment round (to be announced soon), we are scaling fast and looking for new talent to double the team over the next year. In manufacturing, improving workstations and production processes requires balancing worker safety and productivity through analyses that are still largely manual, time-intensive, and costly. Starting from simple smartphone videos, our AI-powered software performs body-mechanics analysis and automates key ergonomic and industrial engineering standards (OCRA, NIOSH, MTM), replacing long observation times and manual assessments — delivering real-world AI built for accuracy and measurable impact. We work with more than 20 major manufacturing groups, including Beko, Electrolux, and Piaggio , and are expanding across Europe with the goal of reaching 100 enterprise customers by 2026 . Role Description We’re looking for a UI Engineer with strong front-end skills and a sharp visual mindset to help us build and evolve the Postura Dashboard — the core interface used daily by safety and operations teams across Europe to evaluate and improve industrial workstations. You’ll take ownership of implementing new features , maintaining and growing our design system (both in Figma and React), and shaping intuitive UI flows based on real business needs. You’ll work closely with the CPO, CTO, and our technical team — from early-stage exploration to hands‑on development — and contribute directly to planning and testing fast MVPs to validate product value. This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role where you’ll help translate complex workflows into clear, usable interfaces — and turn real customer needs into tangible product improvements. What you’ll work on Designing and implementing new product features on the Postura Dashboard, with a strong focus on UI clarity, usability, and visual quality Maintaining and evolving our design system in both Figma and React — ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability Creating new interface flows in Figma and translating business requirements into intuitive components and interactions Collaborating cross-functionally with Product (CPO), Engineering, and Customer Success to shape features from user needs to shipped code Building fast MVPs and UI experiments to quickly validate new ideas and iterate based on user feedback and business impact Owning features end-to-end — from early exploration and user validation, to implementation, refinement, and tracking value via KPIs Tech Stack Frontend: React Figma (design system, component variants, flow design) Version Control: Git, GitHub What We Offer High-Impact, High-Expectation Environment. It’s intense, high-ownership, and not for everyone, but also collaborative, rewarding, and fun. 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production software , ideally SaaS products used by real customers. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Comfort using Figma for low-level UI planning , component libraries, and interface design Strong frontend experience with React , modern component patterns, and data-driven UIs. Deep understanding of design system principles and component-based UI Experience using AI-assisted, spec-driven development workflows (e.g. Cursor, OpenSpec, or equivalent). Fluent English (written and spoken). Extra Skills Experience with React Native or mobile development. Familiarity with Software Design: Knowledge of SOLID principles and common Design Patterns (e.g., Factory, Strategy) is a plus to help us keep the codebase maintainable. Experience with Agile Methodologies: Previous exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows is appreciated to better align with our iterative delivery process. While the role can be performed remotely, we encourage in‑person presence at our Milan office at least once a week to foster better collaboration, alignment, and team bonding—especially during the first six months.
