Our Italian organization is composed of about 70 people: 30% of the staff is based in the office and covers Finance, QRC, IT, People and Culture, General Services, Sales, Administration and Tender functions; the rest of the team is instead located throughout the country where, playing the role of Account Manager, Field Engineer or Laboratory Specialist, takes care of our customers, both from a commercial and technical-specialist point of view. Ortho can provide highly specialized support, guaranteeing the highest quality and reliability of the product and contributing every day to safeguarding the well-being of each patient.Your new roleThe Senior Tender Specialist works closely with his/her manager and colleagues preparing administrative, technical and economic documentation both for public and private tenders for the Italian market.What You'll Be DoingPrepare tenders (paper and telematic), contractual documents and related reportsEfficiently drive and coordinate tender process preparation, submission and follow-up processes with stakeholdersAssess tender requirements and documents to ensure compliance with policies and applicable lawsLiaise with internal staff and external stakeholders to ensure 'zero mistakes' in tender preparation and submissionReview tender & contract documentationSet Terms&Conditions as necessary and allowed in the tender processEnsure common tendering practices are adopted throughout the businessMaintain the tender and response document folders, maintaining, updating and monitoring records on ongoing, outstanding, won and lost tendersGeneral administration dutiesWhat You'll Need To SucceedGeneral and specific tender knowledge ( contract terms and language) related to the Italian legislationminimum 5 years of work experience in tenders management in the diagnostics/healthcare fieldPrecise, reliable, time-sensitive approach, detail and quality-orientedAbility to work independentlyDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writingSelf-confident and flexible team playerMaster basic IT systems and toolsStrong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize and multitask in a project-driven and pressurized, structured environmentDemonstrated integrity, judgment, and respect for othersProject management skillsProven track record in preparing tenders and contracts without administrative/technical/economical mistakesFluency in written and spoken English would be a plusEqual OpportunityQuidelOrtho believes in Equal Opportunity for all and is committed to ensuring all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, have an opportunity to apply for those positions that they are interested in and qualify for without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic.
