Senior Operations Manager ERP & Special Projects and Initiatives (Rome, Italy)EUR 80.000 - 100.000ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex operations projects and initiatives from concept through to execution, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget delivery.Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to identify, prioritise and implement high‑impact process improvements and technology upgrades.Define and execute an ERP roadmap for Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives.Drive ERP system enhancements, upgrades and de‑customisation strategies to reduce complexity and improve scalability, including cloud migration projects and integration of emerging technologies such as AI, RPA and IoT.Facilitate effective communication and alignment across functions such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Commercial to deliver holistic solutions.Champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, leveraging data‑driven insights and innovative problem‑solving techniques.Drive user adoption through training, communication and continuous improvement programmes.Act as a liaison between business and technical teams for ERP‑related projects and issue resolution.Monitor project risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure all initiatives adhere to compliance and safety standards.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Management, Business or a related field.Extensive experience managing manufacturing projects and initiatives.Deep understanding of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle) and their supply‑chain modules.Successful track record supporting and leading cross‑functional teams in a global environment.Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).Exposure to automation and AI tools for complex process management.Strategic vision to align ERP initiatives with long‑term supply‑chain and business objectives.Strong cross‑functional experience with manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and the ability to connect processes and drive end‑to‑end solutions.Innovation mindset and passion for leveraging technology to transform traditional supply‑chain processes.Adaptability to navigate complex ERP landscapes and evolving business priorities.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.BenefitsContemporary work‑life balance policies and wellbeing activities.Comprehensive private medical care options.Safety net of life insurance and disability programmes.Tailored financial programmes.Additional elected or voluntary benefits.Work in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
