Position Overview In this role, you will work with our clients to analyze, explore and apply Machine Learning algorithms, so that it can fit within our Analytics solutions. Your mission will be to find patterns within data, using various Artificial Intelligence techniques to analyze and draw insights from the data with the ultimate goal to transform the way our clients derive value from its data assets. From data extraction, wrangling, and pre-processing, you will scrutinize the data thoroughly and ensure the proper automation and industrialization of this process. Update our product team with feedback from the client usage of our Analytics solutions. Our customers are international FMCG companies – if you are looking for an international exposure, this may be the right match for you Key Responsibilities Analyze and preprocess complex data sets from various sources to prepare them for analytics solutions; Develop, implement, and fine-tune Machine Learning models tailored to specific project needs; Collaborate with the team to build robust and scalable data pipelines; Participate in client meetings to discuss technical results and gather feedback; Work together with the functional team involved in the project (business experts and project manager); Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing within the team; Work together with the product team to integrate developed solutions into our products; Document processes and contribute to the standardization of analytics solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related); 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Data Science and Analytics; Passion for Data Science (Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research); Strong knowledge of Python and main Machine Learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, pytorch, pandas, numpy); Experience with object-oriented programming; Practical experience in developing, validating, and tuning Machine Learning models; Experience with cloud services to store data, build automated pipelines, and run analytics/ML solutions; Familiarity with development tools: VSCode or other IDEs, Jupyter notebooks; Knowledge of git (push, pull, fetch, merge, etc.); Experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis; Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex results clearly; Strong analytical skills with a critical thinking attitude; Proficient in Italian and English; Permit to work in Italy without sponsorship.
