Job SummaryHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Associate Product Compliance Specialist who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples (NA) or Tito Scalo (PZ).AccountabilitiesPrepare the dossiers related to fire smoke regulations EN45545;Be in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in electrical/electronic equipment and lifecycle assessment according to Regulation REACH (1907/2006/EU) and ROHS (2011/65/EU as amended);Prepare dossiers relating to the regulation for the control of exports brokering technical assistance transit and transfer of dual‑use items (EU and US Regulations);Develop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions.Required Skills & KnowledgeBasic knowledge about EN – Standard for fire protection for Rolling Stock;Basic knowledge about LCA Methodologies;Basic knowledge with management and understanding of information related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components;Able to work autonomously and be proactive in the management of the tasks;Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;Willing to work in an international team and environment;Excellent communication skills.EducationUniversity Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background.LanguagesFluent knowledge of English.Additional InformationJob ID: R | Location: Naples, Campania, Italy | Job Schedule: Full time | Remote: No | Employment Type: Full‑time | Vacancy: 1.We thank all applicants for their interest; however only those under consideration will be contacted.
