Field Service Engineer – Piacenza, ItalyOur field service engineers are instrumental in providing first class customer experience when repairing and maintaining our products on customer sites.We're thrilled to be looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy. In this role you will be covering our Diagnostics and Breast and Skeletal Health medical imaging equipment across South Lombardy region. To service the territory successfully you will be based around Piacenza or Cremona ideally.We're looking for people who have engineering experience (electrical/mechanical) ideally from within a medical device background, are happy to be in the field travelling within the designated area as required and occasional international journeys to support our customers, and who love troubleshooting and finding solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance and repair work on Hologic productsInstall instruments at customer sitesLiaise with customer IT departments and assist with information systems installations and troubleshootingSupport marketing activities such as exhibitionsRoutinely complete administrative work, such as Time Reports, Expense Reports, Equipment Site Assessments, Inventory Reports, Equipment Checklists and Field Service ReportsProvide basic use/maintenance training to customersPerform duties and responsibilities with autonomy in a field-based environmentKnowledge, Skills & ExperienceAbility to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsExcellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skillsExperience working in similar/comparable customer-based environmentEffective Time Management SkillsAbility to accurately diagnose issues as described over the phone by Field Service Engineers/customersProficient use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of network and interfacing with the ability to progress though trainingGood level of spoken and written EnglishSo why join Hologic?We are committed to making Hologic the company where top talent comes to grow.
