Power Studies EngineerWe are currently looking for a Power Studies Engineer to join our M Renewables team in Milan, part of our Italian subsidiary.ResponsibilitiesModelling & Simulation:Identify, implement and validate simulation models of renewable generation assets and associated equipmentPerform preliminary analysis to evaluate system performance under various operating scenariosPower & engineering studies:Conduct power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, dynamic stability, and harmonic analysis for renewable projects.Assess compliance with grid codes and connection requirementsConduct protection coordination studiesConduct equipment sizing studiesTechnical Documentation:Write technical reports, study results, and recommendations for grid connection applications and engineering purposes.Support preparation of documentation for regulatory approvals and grid operator submissions.Stakeholder Coordination:Liaise with grid operators, equipment suppliers, and project developers to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery of studies.Provide technical support during project development, engineering, construction, commissioning and operational phases.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on evolving grid codes, renewable integration standards, and emerging technologies.Follow evolution of industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, CENELEC, CEI, ENTSO-E)QualificationsBSc/MEng;Electrical Engineering background is considered an advantageProficiency in power system simulation software (DIgSILENT PowerFactory)Fluency in Italian & EnglishItalian Grid Connection Process (TICA) and Grid Code and relevant standardsKnowledge in electrical engineering tools (Cableizer, CYMCAP, AMPERE EVOLUTION, …) is considered an advantageTrack record (minimum 3 years) in power system studies or grid integration of renewablesTrack record in grid operators’ requirements and processesKnowledge of AUTOCAD and technical drawing toolsWorking experience in ItalyBenefitsAttractive remuneration packageFriendly and professional working environmentContinuous trainingCooperation, creativity and innovation: we adopt a flexible cooperation model to achieve fast results and increase productivityFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest newsWe respect your personal data.
