Team Manager Cost Engineering

Your ResponsibilitiesClosely collaborate with R&D to identify and drive technical initiatives for material cost reduction, including support for new product developmentAnalyze production processes and bills of materials to uncover technical optimization opportunities and cost‑saving measuresOrganize and lead innovation workshops and cost‑benefit analyses involving suppliers and cross‑functional stakeholdersEnsure alignment between technical specifications, Commodity strategies, and evolving market trendsSupport operational units in harmonizing scopes of supply/services in line with the global sourcing strategiesProvide technical and commercial input in development and production projects, including benchmarking, offer analysis, and identification of saving potentialsEvaluate and support supplier development from a technical perspective, together with cross‑functional internal departments, to ensure optimal supplier selectionCoordinate technology scouting and adoption of innovative production approaches to strengthen competitiveness and value creationYour Qualifications & SkillsUniversity degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fieldExperience in Procurement, R&D, or Product Cost Engineering, including proven leadership experienceStrong knowledge of technical procurement methods&tools (e.g., DTC, cost breakdown, VA/VE) and supplier collaboration modelsProven ability to influence product development with a value‑driven mindsetExperience in working within matrix organizations and cross‑functional environmentsDeep understanding of supplier markets, manufacturing technologies, and cost structuresStrong analytical skills combined with a hands‑on, pragmatic approachExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills in multicultural environmentsOUR COMMITMENTInnovative work environment in a young, dynamic teamHigh‑tech projects in the future‑proof sector of e‑mobilityOpportunities for advancement in a growing companyA wide range of further training opportunitiesAttractive bonus system and performance‑related payAdditional company benefitsWHY ALPITRONICTogether with our customers, we are driving the world towards sustainable mobility – with cutting‑edge technology, we inspire with the most innovative and reliable solutions.
