Field Service Senior Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced candidate who will execute Installation & Commissioning (I&C) of High Voltage Products at customer sites in Italy and abroad. The candidate will strictly follow the health, safety & environment Hitachi Energy Standard to deliver on‑time and on‑quality service meeting customer expectations.How You’ll Make An ImpactApply safety rules, report unsafe practices, live core values of safety and integrity.Perform tasks such as installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance independently; identify technical problems and conduct remote or on‑site analysis during installation and commissioning, site acceptance testing, routine maintenance, oil treatment, etc.Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing work according to customer orders and expectations; maintain good relationships with customers; coordinate, prepare, and ensure materials, parts, and equipment are available and appropriate quality for installation and commissioning activities.Prepare all documents and report for customer representatives; report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed.Troubleshoot simple equipment failures and recommend measures to avoid repeating the problem.Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.Live Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your BackgroundTechnical diploma and/or degree.Good knowledge of Italian and English.Experience in a similar role inside High Voltage Products field is considered a plus.Ability to work independently and coordinate field technicians.Flexibility and problem‑solving abilities.Availability to travel worldwide (90–100%).More About UsWe offer the opportunity to work with fantastic people and develop yourself on projects that present great technical challenges and have a real impact.
