Prometeia is seeking for talented and motivated professionals with a passion for data science and a drive for innovation to join our Data Science team as Business Translator – Senior Analyst/Specialist, contributing to transformative projects in the banking and insurance sectors. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Business Translator, you will: - Gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of organizational goals and challenges to guide the design of AI solutions. - Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop AI prototypes and applications, focusing on data understanding, cleaning, and integrating the prototype into business processes. - Manage and coordinate complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives. - Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Coordinate project activities effectively with internal and external clients. - Create compelling value propositions and the related business cases. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required skills: - Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline. - At least 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in the financial or insurance sector. - Comprehensive understanding of machine learning fundamentals and key algorithms (clustering, classification, regression). - Demonstrated experience in creating high-quality presentations and documents tailored to diverse audiences. - General knowledge in at least one data analysis programming language (e.G., Python, R, Matlab). - Familiarity with key trends and topics in the banking and insurance sec tors.Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with version control systems (e.G.,Git). - Experience in building business cases and evaluating project cost/benefit. - Preferred experience in a consultancy company. SOFT SKILLS - A problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset. - Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. - A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Passionate about process innovation and driven by curiosity to understand and optimize business processes.
