You will focus on the short circuit performance of power transformers and support design and manufacturing teams with your expertise.About the ClientOur client is a leading global energy technology company, providing innovative solutions for power grids, renewable energy, and electrical infrastructure. They focus on sustainable energy, advanced technology, and high-quality engineering, supporting customers worldwide in creating efficient and reliable energy systems.What You’ll DoDevelop new technologies, products, and processes for core-type transformersLead and manage R&D projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveryMaintain and improve technical standards and design toolsPrepare reports, specifications, and training materials to share knowledgeAssess production processes and suggest improvementsSupport factories with troubleshooting and technical guidanceCollaborate with platform developers on technical specificationsBuild relationships with internal teams, universities, and customersYour BackgroundMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical Engineers with relevant experience may also apply)5+ years’ experience in power transformer design, testing, or manufacturingSolid knowledge of short circuit physics in transformersSkilled in finite element electromagnetic analysis tools; basic 3D CAD skills (e.g., CREO) are a plusExperience with engineering calculation or verification softwareProgramming skills in C#, C++, Python are a plusFamiliar with mechanical calculations (bending, torsion, materials)Excellent English communication skills.Recruitment PartnerThis role is managed by Sperton Norway, part of Sperton Global, a recruitment partner connecting skilled professionals with leading companies worldwide.#J-18808-Ljbffr
