The Commodity Manager will work closely with the client’s Purchasing function, defining and managing sourcing strategies for assigned categories, optimizing costs, quality, and timelines, and developing a structured and competitive supplier base.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine the purchasing strategy for assigned commodities (carpenteria, lavorazioni meccaniche, and electrical part)Select, evaluate, and qualify suppliers, ensuring alignment with expected standardsNegotiate commercial and contractual conditionsImplement cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvementAnalyze technical and economic offers, supporting internal technical functionsMonitor supplier performance (quality, delivery times, competitiveness)Collaborate with technical, quality, and production offices for product developmentManage supply chain issues, criticality, and recovery plansQualificationsActive Partita IVA or availability to open it soonConsolidated experience in industrial purchasingSolid knowledge of mechanical processing and carpenteriaPreferable experience in purchasing electrical components/cablingAbility to read technical drawingsGood knowledge of EnglishAvailability to work at the client’s office in the Province of ComoProject DetailsAvailability required: preferably immediateProject duration: initially 8 monthsWork location: ComoHow to ApplyIf you think you are the ideal candidate and share our values, send us your curriculum.
