About the Role Position: CAD Mechanical Designer (SolidWorks) Location: Treviso, Italy Type: Full-time Responsibilities Manage the mechanical design of plastic parts using SolidWorks for solid modeling and surfacing Perform early analysis of injection molding and participate in prototyping phases (3D printing, mock-ups, functional testing) PCB layout design using dedicated electronic CAD (Altium) Understand industrialization regulations and standards to optimize drawing practices, ensuring compliance and efficiency in the mechanical design process Coordinate with the electronics team to optimize the mechanical integration of PCB, cabling, and electronic modules Qualifications Diploma or Degree in mechanical field or equivalent At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role Good knowledge of SolidWorks and knowledge of the injection molding process for plastic materials Knowledge of Altium circuit electronic design tool preferred Read technical drawings (dimensional tolerances) Good knowledge of spoken and written English Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Teamwork and ability to work in an international environment; proactive attitude Adapt to new technologies and frameworks as needed How to apply If you are passionate about making a difference and being part of a team that is shaping the future, we'd like to hear from you.
