Sr Specialist, Global Regulatory Affairs Herbalife Italy – RomeVia Amsterdam, 125Roma00144About the role We’re looking for an experienced Senior Specialist, Global Regulatory Affairs to join our dynamic Global Regulatory Affairs team, supporting the Europe & Africa (E&A) sub-region. This role is based in Rome, Italy and plays a key part in ensuring the regulatory compliance of Herbalife products.You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally with international teams and external regulatory bodies to obtain and maintain product approvals and support the successful commercialization of products across Italy, and other European countries. You will also contribute to regional and global regulatory initiatives and represent Herbalife in trade associations.In this role you willEnsure regulatory compliance with Italian and European legislation, including for food supplements, foods, personalized nutrition, cosmetics and medical devices.Support country‑specific and regional regulatory projects, including product launches, product maintenance, and labeling compliance.Lead communication with competent authorities, industry stakeholders, consultants, and attorneys.Represent Herbalife in local and EU trade associations, advocating for company interests.Advise cross‑functional teams on regulatory requirements and support market access strategies.Collaborate in cross‑functional, multicultural teams, providing expert input and ensuring effective regulatory planning and execution.Our RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, biology, food science, nutrition, or a related field.3–5 years of hands‑on regulatory experience in the industry or within regulatory authorities.Deep knowledge of Italian and European legislation on food products, food supplements and medical devices.Demonstrated experience in regulatory submissions and product approvals.Experience leading or supporting cross‑regional or global regulatory projects.Native‑level proficiency in Italian and fluency in English (both spoken and written) are required.
